Can you believe that Easter is one month away, this year is going by so quickly. I was just talking with one of my co-workers the other day about our plans for Easter.  What do you typically do on Easter and do you have any traditions?

Each year on Easter my family and I attend church service and then continue on the celebration with an over the top brunch / lunch. Our family goes all out with a fabulous meal that typically ranges anywhere from seafood platters to traditional ham and, of course, followed up by a fabulous dessert. Speaking of dessert, how splendid is this cake platter?! The best part is you can purchase the smaller platter and stack on top to duplicate as a tea tray!!

I’ve mentioned previously my love for MacKenzie-Childs and their classic Courtly Check print. Each year for the Christmas holiday my mother-in-law and I exchange gifts, and somehow we always end up surprising one another with gifts of MacKenzie-Childs! So, this got me thinking about starting a tradition in giving Mackenzie-Childs and building a personal collection. This is something that we can all do as a family, one piece at a time with meaning.

For instance, how adorable is the latest Collection, Thistle & Bee?! Each plate and mug is handcrafted and features Spring flowers that remind me of an English garden, similar to these decanters. If you’re like me, each Spring you have to surround yourself with all things floral, and for me, that even includes coffee mugs to dinnerware!  I love these magnificent wine glasses, they are so grandiose it makes drinking wine fun! And what better to keep your wine chilled than the everything bowl. Of course, you can chill other beverages other than wine, but we are celebrating Easter right?!

Which brings me to all the Easter bunnies, I adore all the Easter bunnies. How cute is Rosie Rabbit and her sister the Courtly Check Rabbit. These little bunnies sure do make the tablescape festive between them and these pastel Easter eggs. Lastly, you must have the matching Bunny Dish Towel and these Spring Hare Cocktail Napkins! Now, you are all set for your Easter celebration and starting a family tradition in beginning a collection of fabulous MacKenzie-Childs!

Happy Easter Peeps!

I absolutely love the tablescape! The check combined with floral and Easter pastels is gorgeous. My favorites, the cake platter, the everything Bowl and the wine glasses! Love the look, well done. Wait I can’t leave out the bunnies! Love them.
