New York

I’m so excited and feeling extremely thankful to be spending the Thanksgiving Holiday in New York with my family. I’ve been dreaming of this trip for the last month!

To me when I think of Thanksgiving, I think about waking up early to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. One of my dreams has always been to watch the Thanksgiving Parade in my cozy PJ’s while watching the parade first hand. This year we made that dream come true and it was such a delight! Our hotel is located on the Parade route with spectacular views of the floats right out our hotel room window.

The best part of being in New York for Thanksgiving is, I also get to delight in all of New York’s holiday splendor. It’s absolutely magical this time of year! The entire city is decked out for the holiday. The store fronts are beautifully decorated with large strands of fresh garland, ornaments and lights. You MUST go by the legendary Bergdorf Goodman windows! They are a feast for the eyes.

A trip to New York during the holiday season is not complete without seeing The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular Show. This is by far my favorite Christmas show!! I love the show so much, I’ve seen it seven times and I’m ready to see it again!

I hope your Thanksgiving was filled with lots of fun, family, and friends.

Now I’m off for my very favorite thing about New York, THE SHOPPING!!
