Happy Friday! I know that I’m a little late to the game but I have finally had a chance to put together a list of my 2018 goals. This year has already started off fabulous ringing in the New Year in Paris. Now I’ve got to keep the momentum going and continue on with making 2018 my New Year starting with a new me.
If you saw this post (here) from last Fall you know that I had a huge shakeup in my career. This change has been amazing as it has allowed for me to take time out for myself and reflect on the past and decide what I would like for my future. Not working for the last three months has been a real learning experience. For instance, I know that I’m more productive when I follow a daily regimen. Working (which I sometimes would dread) is actually a good thing for me as it helps keep me in line and not only that, it’s rewarding. I have noticed that having endless amounts of time on my hand, I often put off chores or tasks for social get-togethers. Don’t get me wrong, I have had a great time catching up with friends, but with that comes lots of dinners and endless amounts of vino! Needless to say between the holidays, travel (here) and all my social activities I have put on a few pounds!
After evaluating the changing me, I have decided to take a chance and switch industries. I’m happy to say that starting Monday I will start my new career. I’m so excited not only to learn a new role, but I’m excited for what my future holds. I’m also looking forward to getting back into my daily routine that does not include endless amounts of food and wine! I’ve always found that one way to motivate me is to get back into the gym with a new pair of workout pants, which is precisely why I recently bought these new yoga pants, haha! I’m looking forward to the New Year and the new me in 2018!
