It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! This is by far my favorite holiday and you can bet that I go all out when it comes to decorating for the season. I mentioned previously in this post (here) that my MacKenzie-Childs collection started with my mother-in-law gifting me a piece each year for Christmas. Soon it became our tradition where we ended up gifting one another MacKenzie-Childs!
This season I’m so excited to share with you all my Mackenzie-Childs Christmas tablescapes. I set up two tables in my home; one formal in the dining room and one casual in the dinette off the kitchen.
In the formal dining room, I have set the table with these Precious Metals Plate & Charger set. The gold and silver beaded detailing around the chargers really dress up the look of the table. On top of the charger plates, I added these Thistle & Bee plates.
However, I also like the look of adding these Parchment Check Fluted Dinner Plates. Keeping with the Precious Metals Collection, I paired the matching beaded napkin ring and napkin. Both pieces incorporate the similar beading tying together the napkins, napkin rings, and the charger plates. In the center of the table, I added the Precious Metals Candle Centerpiece. The centerpiece is a mix of silver and gold pinecones mixed with the classic Courtly Check ribbon.
On each side of the centerpiece I have staggered the Winter White Stag – Resting and Winter White Stag – Standing. Both stags have touches of the Courtly Check print with paired with gold and silver detailing.
Behind the formal dining room table, you will notice that I have added a flocked tree and circled it with the Precious Metals Holiday Ribbon. The bow is made of the Courtly Check 4″ Ribbon. Throughout the tree, I have added the Star Bright Ornaments, Holly Fancy Ornaments, and the Holly Check Ball Ornaments. I feel this MacKenzie-Childs inspired Christmas tree just helps to tie the room together.
Each plate is lined with hints of Courtly Check, Tartan plaid ribbon, spruce, pine, holly, and golden apples. I have stacked the Evergreen Enamel Charger Plates, followed by the Evergreen Enamel Dinner Plates with the Evergreen Enamel Everyday Bowls on top.
In the center, I have used the Courtly Check Everything Bowl and filled it with decorative ornaments and gold dusted pine combs for a traditional holiday look. On the table itself, I have used a Tartan plaid tablecloth as well as various spruce greenery and decorative ornaments.
I hope this post has inspired you on how to decorate your home for the holiday season!
